Hi there, I'm Kosan and I've been doing 3D Art since 2015 and I've graduated with a Bachelor in Game Arts at the Cologne Game Labs in 2024.
I love all aspects of game development, although I am specialized in doing props and environments, as well as shaders.
The TH Köln's "Center for Academic Development" (ZLE in german), commissioned our group to polish up our game prototype for "Beyond the Chalkboard", a serious game aimed at educating teaching staff about the struggles of students suffering social anxiety and depression. Part of the contract was preparing all the necessary materials for a hand-in at the German Game Award (Deutscher Computerspielpreis), including a short trailer, in the goal of garnering attention for the further funding of the project.
My main role was primarily Technical Art and developing the art direction for the environment, I spent most of my time building the scribbly cross-hatched toon shader used for the environments in the game, which I also modeled out in Blender based on the Designer's greyboxes.
Internship as a 3D Generalist, using Blender, Photoshop, Illustrator and other programs to retouch images, create 3D Visualizations/Mockups, vector art, and dabble in real-time/VR environment art.
