Most of the wood block assets were a selection of modular different sized beveled boxes, with a object-offset world-aligned/tri-planar material. Given the short time frame, this let us rapidly replace bsp blockouts with somewhat nicer looking cubes.

Alongside the rigging and anim controller setup of the characters, I also handled their ink shader. Mostly a few basic effects like Unreal's Subsurface and some fresnel stuffs.

BookNooks - Student Project - Game Prototype

This project was my 3rd semester project at the Cologne Game Lab, developed in around 2 months.
I did most of the 3D Art and technical implementation (except for Character concepts/meshes and Architectural house model sets, credits go to Matthias Meyer). I set up custom shaders, decals, effects. Most importantly I set up materials (utilizing Megascans for many surfaces) and made some props to fit alongside those Megascans assets (credits for soft-cover book textures go to Henni Wiesner). I also art passed all the level blockouts from the designers and did the lighting for the scene.
